Shuttle buses
Private shuttle services can take you to Nova Scotia’s capital, Halifax, from towns around the province and even from neighbouring provinces like New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island.
Many shuttles stop at Halifax International Airport, the bus station and train station as well as in the city centre.
Taking a shuttle, usually a minivan or transit van carrying less than a dozen passengers, is more expensive than travelling by public bus but it’s also more comfortable, probably quicker and almost always more convenient. Shuttles can often provide a door-to-door service.
