Acadian Buses

Acadian is the only bus operator that serves many Nova Scotian cities, towns and villages.

You’ll find bus stations at the bigger stops but in smaller locations the bus may stop at a local service station or corner store. Ask around to find out where to catch it.

A typical round-trip fare from Halifax to Truro is $32 and a return journey from Halifax to Amherst costs $63.

Going further afield, it’s possible to get connecting services around the Maritime region and to destinations across North America, although given the distances and time involved, you’ll probably prefer to fly to anything further away than New Brunswick or Prince Edward Island.
